
Basic Home Appliances Repair And Business Practices
Location: Eshowe, South Africa
Since 2000, Video Clinic has been helping the whole community of King Ceshwayo district
in all sort of home appliances by repairing them and educating them how to read and
use their machines manual booklets. Inspired by Upskill, in 2016, Video clinic commenced
to train one to two young people within the area of Richard’s Bay, Empangeni, Eshowe,
Ulundi, Nkandla and Dundee. In Partnership with Upskill Africa Initiative, we will be
starting our first group of learners in January 2022, the group will include youth
from Umlalazi Munincipality at Eshowe. This three months’ program will focus
on basic repairing skills and how to earn a living from home appliances repair
through additional business training.

3. Upskill Africa – Recruitment, retention, Business coaching and Social Cohesion.
